Dance in the Rain

Grey clouds roll through as the sky goes dark

Rain starts to fall and I can feel it in my heart

Little drops of water on my face
As if a little kids dream is to be chased

Rain falls down on the sidewalk
Here to wash away all the chalk

rain falls down on the street
The king of rain i hope to meet

Rain falls down on the houses
Seemingly as quiet as the mouses

Rain falls down from the sky
The sensation makes me fly

Rain falls down from the clouds
And casts a mountain of shroud

Rain falls down on the cars
As more clouds roll in from afar

Rain falls down to hide my tears
Rain falls down to cover my fears

Rain falls down for us to dance in it
Rain falls down for us to prance in it

And as all the grey clouds leave
We will in fact receive

A time like no other
When we dance in the rain
